TAK CHAN ARCHITECTURE 

The architecture serves as an interface between an urban setting and natural environments. Located at Tillicum Centre, a new residential component is proposed and will provide more than 200 housing units in various sizes, including social housing types. The curvy floor plans of the nine-storey and twelve-storey towers harmonize with the site’s condition where the existing mall meets the park. Different amenities are designed throughout, including roof gardens and public spaces facing the existing park. A strong horizontal link connects the two major towers with a continuous retail ground floor that closely integrates with existing commercial areas. The project promotes a more sustainable lifestyle on the site and reduces the need for driving.
