TAK CHAN ARCHITECTURE 

Located at the Glenlyon Business Park in Burnaby, the project provides 40,000 square feet of multi-tenant office space on two levels and 120 parking spaces, including sheltered bicycle parking facilities. The architecture is designed with a pie-shaped floor plan to accommodate the challenging shape and size of the site. Featured walls are designed for the southwest curved perimeters and are screened with heat-absorbing glass panels to reduce glare and heat gain from direct sunlight. The building is constructed with standardized tilt-up concrete panels to meet the construction budget. The tilt-up wall at the building’s main entrance is extended to become a sculptural form integrated with a weather protection canopy supported by a V-shaped steel structure.
