TAK CHAN ARCHITECTURE
Based in Vancouver, Canada, Tak Chan Architecture is a design consultant for architecture of diverse project types from urban planning, mixed use and commercial to residential developments in different scales. Along with years of international design background, Tak Chan Architecture brings unique visions and skills to different developments through close collaborations with clients and other architectural teams. Completed projects spread through different countries and cities including Beijing, Calgary, Hong Kong, St. Catherines, Vancouver, Zhaoqing and others.
Tak Chan Architect
Born in Hong Kong, Tak M. Chan has a passion for art and design since he was young. After receiving design education in Hong Kong Polytechnic University, he joined Cathay Pacific Airways for a cadet pilot program in Australia before he started his design career. Through scholarships and work experience, Tak exposes to multi-cultural environments in different countries including Britain, Canada and China. During his design career, Tak worked with different architects including Rick Mather Architects in London and Ettore Sottsass from Milan. He received his Master of Architecture in the University of British Columbia and became a registered architect in Canada. In Vancouver, he also worked with Musson Cattell Mackey Partnership and PBK Architects as an associate and participated in various project types and award winning designs. His design portfolio extends from interior design to architecture and planning, and covers residential, office, retail, clubhouse, theatre, arena and government sectors.
