GLENLYON

BURNABY

Situated at the Glenlyon Business Park in Burnaby, the project provides 40,000 sq.ft. multi-tenant office spaces on two levels and 120 parking spaces along with shelter bicycle parking facilities. The architecture is designed with a pie-shaped floor plan with respect to the challenging shape and size of the site. Featured walls are designed for the southwest curved perimeters screened with heat-absorbing glass panels to reduce glare and heat gain from direct sunlight. The building is constructed with standardized tilt-up concrete panel to meet the construction budget. The tilt-up wall at the building main entrance is extended to become a sculptural form integrated with a weather protection canopy supported by a v-shaped steel structure.
