TAK CHAN ARCHITECTURE 

Located at the south of the Trans-Canada Highway and west of Valley Ridge Boulevard, a new community is planned on the west side of Calgary where the population is rising. The project is positioned as a gateway development that will connect Valley Ridge, Crestmont and future communities of the area. The design concept is to create a mixed-use development include living, shopping, dining and entertainment facilities enriched with inspiring landscapes and architecture along with open-air boulevards, parks and plazas to satisfy the growing needs and create a social focal point in the region. With respect to the existing natural environment, the stacked design achieves a compact development integrated with the hillside. Through environmental conservation, new parks will become a public amenity and significant lands will be permanently protected.
