TILLICUM
SANNICH
The architecture works as an interface between an urban setting and natural environments. Situated at Tillicum Centre, a new residential component is proposed and it provides more than 200 housing units in different sizes including social housing types. The curvy floor plans of the nine-storey and twelve-storey towers work with the site condition where the existing mall meets the park. Different amenities are designed throughout with roof gardens and public spaces facing the existing park. There is a strong horizontal link connecting two major towers with a continuous retail ground floor working closely with existing commercial areas. The project promotes a more sustainable life style on the site and reduces the need of driving.
